Xbox Slim at E3: The new Xbox 360 model with Kinect support

Xbox Slim at E3 The new Xbox 360 model with Kinect support Xbox Slim at E3: The new Xbox 360 model with Kinect support It’s the week of E3 and Microsoft has already shown, a day before the event begins, two of its weapons for the coming months: Kinect and its new Xbox 360 Slim.

Leaving aside the aesthetic, we could say that the new Xbox console remains with the same list of features and specifications like the previous model, except for the integrated Wi-Fi 802.11n. This insurance is also something that many users will appreciate because it is an existing feature in previous models, but only through a quite expensive external adapter. In addition, hard disk capacity will grow to 250 GB.

The new Xbox 360 is a facelift, but really does not add anything new to the market. Is missing, once again, the Blu-Ray and the capability to play High Definition movies.

Microsoft has confirmed that the new Xbox 360, which is now available in the United States, maintaining the same price as its predecessor, $ 299, including the internal 250 GB hard disk and WiFi. There are currently no known price or availability of Kinecta for Xbox 360, but it will go on sale in November.

The author is an idiot! The new xbox doesn’t bring anything new to market except a built in 802.11N wi-fi, which would be the first console with an N adapter wi-fi. I might take them more serious and pay more respect if they even realized that Blu-Ray in a Microsoft Console couldn’t happen. Sony owns Blu-Ray, Sony owns PS3, why would Sony EVER fortify the competition console with their Blu-Ray player? Why would Microsoft ever put the overpriced, over hyped Blu Ray player into their console? I have seen Blu Ray and it isn’t that much better than regular DVD’s with upconversion.
