What’s Hot Today? Ellen Barkin Wins $4.3 Million From Ex-Husband Ron
Ellen Barkin, is a popular actress and ex-wife of Revlon Billionaire Ronald Perelman won $4.3 million in a suit against his ex husband Ronald Perelman. A Manhattan judge ordered Perelman to pay the artist the amount of money so that she can invest it into her film production company which was co- founded by his ex husband. This happened before their divorce.
Ellen had a settlement between $20 and $60 million before but she is not yet happy with that, the reason why he filed a suit against his ex-husband and asking for another $4.3 million.
Ellen and Ron were married for more than 5 years and ended up in an awful divorce in 2006.
Before they separated, Ron Perelman decided to fund a film production company that Barkin and her brother George would run. Barkin signed a contract to create four capital contributions per year to Applehead Pictures in 2006 and 2007 with a total of $3.4 million.
However, Perelman claimed the agreement was null and void because Barkin violated their divorce agreement. She spoke about their relationship publicly by not taking legal steps to acquire a “get” divorce document in Jewish Law.
Although Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Debra James gave favor with Barkin’s Production’s company, indicating that Applehead contract were separate businesses. Perelman was ordered to pay Ellen Barkin the $3.4 million agreement with interest.
