Villanova Looks Surprised
It has been a rough one for Villanova in the NCAA tournament. Many of the spectators have been surprised at the outcome of the game. St. Mary’s being a powerful team was able to push Villanova out of the tournament all together. The game seemed to be one that the would be swayed either way. But, with St. Mary’s having a strong offense, Villanove was defeated by the last minute score. With only about a minute left, the game was turn around and forced Villanova to be sent home with out a victory.
The outcome of this game was sort of surprising, but really set a tone for the other teams in the East Conference. The East conference was pretty much sent home after these big losses. But, the NCAA tournament will continue, with not so much of a big fight in the end. It will still be interesting to see the outcome of the tournament. Villanova will leave this tournament in disappointment after losing 6 of the 9 games that they played in the tournament. They are looking towards next year to see what they will be trying to work on in the off-season and improve for the start of the next season.
It will be interesting to see what they will bring to the court for next year. And what players will continue to improve their game.
