That Was The New IPhone 4G ! Part Two :
If you read our article about a curious looking iPhone the other day, you will be glad to know you were looking at the real thing, the new iPhone 4G. The newest model of the iPhone was lost in a beer garden ( bar ) in Redwood City, California. The owner was twenty seven year old Gray Powell. He is okay, and feeling a bit sheepish, but is alive.
Perhaps it was the german beer that distracted Powell, but the situation went down like this: Powell was sitting in the bar talking to other patrons, this one was his friend ( who is nameless ). Powell left the bar, leaving the precious cargo on the bar stool. Before Powell left, the person sitting on the opposite side of Powell was visiting the bathroom. Upon this person´s return, Powell was gone, and the secret iPhone was still sitting on the barstool. This is when the returning person remarked to Powell´s friend about the iPhone sitting on the stool. He states; ” Hey man ! Is that your iPhone ?“. The friend denies it is his. The story continues on, but Powell´s bar-friend ends up with the phone, wondering just whose it is.
The story is ended by the friend taking the iPhone home and seeing some of the internal programs before it is remotely bricked ( erased ) by Apple. That was in the middle of last March. It ended up with the people who bring us gizmodo the web site. The rest is recorded online for the world to see. It was the real thing, and you were one of the first to see the “next” iPhone here.
