The Red Shirt protesters have been handed a slap in the face by their Prime Minister. The Red Shirts asked for a new election in return for peace. They were rejected. The tensions grew high as someone interupted the satellite signal as the Prime Minister was giving his speech on the  matter.

The Red Shirts have gone back to their ways and will no doubt be continuing the fight. With negotiations off the table, it is advisable that foreigners in Bangkok leave as soon as possible.

Yesterday a man from Australia was injured when a grenade attack took place near a train he was boarding. His name is Rowse and was standing close enough to a group of Red Shirts to get hurt. The grenade went off and he was hit by shrapnel from it. He teaches English in Rangoon. He was renewing his Burmese Visa at the time he was hit.

As the situation worsens in Thailand, the economy may suffer as well as the reputation of the country. The other group that is forming on the outskirts of Bangkok are pro-government and have “multi-colored” shirts. They started their rally today at seven in the morning. Prime Minister Abhisit is on the side of the “multi-colored” shirts. They are pro-government supporters.

How do you know that “Prime Minister Abhisit is on the side of the “multi-colored” shirts.” Did he tell you? or did someone from red shirt pay you to say so?

I think this comment may be a result of not knowing the truth on the situation. “thaiforpeace”… you should know the “multi-colored” shirts are “pro-government”. The President is “in the government”, right ?

By the way do you know who is depicted in the flag that the Red Shirts are carrying ?? Guess who that is…. none other than Che Guevara, major communist in the world, killed by the United States and glorified these days by communists around the world.
