murray Soderling Beats Andy Murray at BNP Paribas Quarter FinalsIn a scintillating match between Robin Sodelring and Andy Murray at BNP Paribas Quarter finals in Indian Wells Soderling overpowered Murray beating him at straight sets. Murray crashed out of the tournament and Soderling with this win proves that he will go run a long race in his career to establish himself as ace.

The sixth seeded Swedish boy beat Murray in 1 hour 34 minutes and will now face Andy Roddick in the semi-finals for a place in the final. Andy Roddick beat Tommy Roberdo to reach the semi-final. On the other hand defending champion Rafael Nadal will face Ivan Ljubicic in the other semi-final. It would be good to watch if Soderling beat Roddick and Nadal too does that. Their confrontation will bring back old memories and now the fit Nadal would look forward to avenge his defeat at the hands of Soderling.

Regarding his defeat Murray said, “He played very well to start with and I didn’t. I didn’t move particularly well.” Murray was able to break four points in the opening game but later on he succumbed on his own serve. The 5-0 lead of Soderling in the first set seemed a daunting task for Murray. Will Soderling face Nadal in the final? Will he win the ATP Tour? That really remains an interesting mystery.
