Sarah Palin To Attend CSUS 50th Anniversary Gala
An official note released by the California State University Stanislaus (CSUS) reveals that Sarah Palin would be the guest of honor marking CSUS’s 50th Anniversary Gala to be held on June 25. Palin is the first female governor of Alaska as well as Republican party’s first woman vice presidential nominee who was nominated as a candidate when John McCain was running for the presidential post. The lady did grab much spotlight in 2008 when the election campaigns were at peak.
An email read:
“We are proud and honored to welcome such a well-known figure to the CSU Stanislaus campus.”
The event is hosted by the CSUS Foundation which is a black-tie fund raising event. Tickets are available at the campus for $500 which will include dinner and dancing. All proceeds would benefit the University. The former vice presidential candidate is scheduled to deliver a key note at the event.
The former candidate had also resigned from her seat as governor Alaska last year in July. She later turned to writing and wrote he best-selling autobiography titled “Going Rogue”. Later she was hired by Fox News to anchor as a political analyst.
Even sitting back and enjoying the days of Democrats govern, the lady was seen again in the news as she voiced concerns on the Healthcare Bill. Sarah Palin has been appointed to be the guest of honor as she’s the former candidate fr vice president and the first female on the Republican ticket, told the Vice Chancellor.
