Rihanna, the popular R&B artist was born on the 20th day of February 1988. She is not just a plain R&B singer but also a song writer. At the age of 16, she moved to the U.S. to pursue her singing career with the help of Evan Rogers, a record producer. She then signed up to be a recording artist of Def Jam Recordings. Her first debut album was launched in the year 2005 titled “Music of the Sun”. The album hit number one of the Billboard 200 chart and the carrier single “Pon de Replay” was featured in the Billboard Hot 100.
Her 2nd album was released the following year and the title of the album is “A Girl Like Me”. The album did not hit the number one spot but its carrier single SOS made it on top of the Billboard Hot 100. “Good Girl Gone Bad” was Rihanna’s 3rd album which was released in the year 2007. This album made it to number 2 with the hit singles Disturbia, Take a Bow, Umbrella as well as the international hit don’t stop the music. The album “good girl gone bad” made Rihanna win the best rap artist for umbrella. Her 4th album was called “Rated R”, it was released 2009 of November. The 3 singles Russian Roulette, Rude Boy, and Hard were all in the top 10 of the Billboard hot 100 chart. Amongst the 3, Rude Boy made it at the top of the chart.
Her 5th and newest album is called “Loud”. It was first released in the U.S. and U.K. on the 12th day of November 2010 under Def Jam Recordings. At a short span of time, the singles “Only Girl” and “What’s My Name?” made it number one in United States and United Kingdom.
The newest album has eleven (11) songs and these are S&M, What’s My Name? (feat Drake), Cheers (drink to that), Fading, Only Girl (in the world), California King Bed, Man Down, Raining Men (feat Nicki Minaj), Complicated, Skin, and Love the Way You Lie (part 2 feat Eminem).
It has 4 separate editions:
1. The standard edition
2. The deluxe edition. This is exclusively distributed in US and Australia only. It has a thirty minute DVD showing the making and preparation of the hit album.
3. The couture edition. This comes in a box that features the deluxe ed. of the album, plus an art lithograph and a full sized photo book.
4. Ultra Couture Edition. This is the combination of all three plus the album is personally signed by Rihanna and an MP3 download.
