noynoy Philippine Election Results: Aquino Stays On The LeadBenigno Aquino III, the son of the late Corazon Aquino is now leading the presidential elections as of Tuesday 10 am. Aquino’s campaign with a promise to help restore the Philippine government’s credibility made him liked by most of the voters. He plans on making this promise come true by prosecuting the corrupt officials who are using their power for their own good.

Monday’s vote was a huge success despite of some technical issues and glitches with the computerized counting machines and the violence that took the lives of almost nine people. Senator Benigno Aquino III is planning to continue the legacy of both his parents who served the country in the best way they could. Aquino is leading the other nine candidates by having 40.19 percent of the votes. Former President Joseph Estrada is tailing Aquino’s lead with 25.46 percent of the total votes.

Though some candidates have already conceded like Presidential candidate Manuel Villar, some are still waiting for the final and official results of the votes. Whoever will win the election, just make sure that it is the country that you have your eyes into. Serve the country well, and the people will serve you well.

I just hope that Erap will not be the number one. I can’t imagine how Philippines is going to be. Sorry if I offended the supporters but of all the candidates I don’t really like Erap to win.
