Orianthi Panagaris Performs “According To You” Live @ American Idol
Orianthi Panagaris, the famous Australian guitarist of the King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, performed her first debut single at the American Idol yesterday. The young lady came to spotlight as she was feature with King Of Pop on his comeback concert, This Is It. The young lady more known as ‘Ori’ by her friends was discovered by Jackson when she performed on the 2009 Grammy Awards event along with Carrie Underwood. The King Of Pop was already looking for a female guitarist to perform with her on the show and he picked Orianthias the best choice. Her song, “According To You”, peaked #6 in Australia and #17 in US.
Orianthi also played and sang at Jackson’s memorial which was televised globally on July 7, 2009. She will also be appearing in the film, Michael Jackson’s This Is It, which brings in the rehearsals of the tour and life of Jackon, basically a tribute.
“According To You” is the first single of the beautiful lady from the album ‘Believe’ which was released back in October 2009. Her performance was surely a rocking event for the Idol fans as she performed.
