People in Caucasus, Balkan region, Central Asia and Middle East and other areas are gearing up to celebrate Nowruz as the Iranian Calendar year 1388 comes to an end and 1389 will begin soon. Over 300 million across the globe celebrate this festival and the ancestors of these people have been doing this are three millenniums.

President Barack Obama through an online video message told Iranians that U.S. is ready for more cultural and educational exchanges and lamented over the issue that the leaders in Tehran have turned their backs to good faith opportunities in the past for this cordial and expanding opportunities for the people of Iran.

But the State Radio in Iran was quick to criticize this move and message as an old American trick to Iranians. However in his second video Obama said that the U.S. always looked for friendly relations with the country and still kept the offer open for diplomatic dialogue between the two nations. To this the Iranian government has maintained a numb state and has not responded to President Obama’s speech that U.S. wants dignity of every human being.

The White House released the video on late Friday to coincide with Nowruz. Iran and other such areas observe 12 day holiday celebrating the arrival of spring and New Year on the Persian Calendar. The video is seen as a diplomatic solution to bring Iran under talks as US is going under stringent relationship at moment with Israel.
