Kobe Bryant on an All-white LA Times Photo Shoot
“In a town where celebrity is a common commodity, the basketballer is a category upon himself.” — This is a quote taken from LA Times article “White Hot” where basketball superstar Kobe Bryant is featured.
Los Angeles Lakers player Kobe Bryant had this all-white fashion photo shoot for the Los Angeles Times earlier this week.
James Valeri, the stylist of the shoot, explains that the photographer, Ruven Afanador wanted to do everything in white and they did not want to use accessories that would look too retro. The photo shoot intends to give a modern approach because Kobe is a cool, young and successful athlete.
Most of the comments about the NBA star’s photos are not really good. Some say it’s a weird and odd sense of fashion, a little too artsy and some even say it’s kind of racist.
The article had an interview of Kobe that talks about crazy little things about him like his personality, his favorite song and band, and even dog poops.
