Jennifer Aniston, Victim of Salon fraud
Beverly Hills beauty salon’s owner was arrested on Wednesday with the charges of stealing credit card information from actress Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway and Liv Tyler. He was charged for running up more than thousands of fraud payment on their accounts.
A witness said that, Cher, Melanie Griffith and Scott Speedman were also victims of this fraud. According to a court affidavit, owner of Chez Gabriela Studio is charged for deceiveing $214,000 from Live tyler alone in five months during last year.
51 year old Maria Gabriella Perez is the owner of the salon who was charged and arrested for making at least $280,000 of fraud charges in one year. Maria is accused of having used credit card information of the celebrities and other clients for some services and then entered the information manually to run unauthorized charges.
Jennifer Aniston, Hathaway, Tyler, Griffith and Speed were some of the names mentioned in the court papers, these are among those who saw unauthorized charges on their credit cards.
