Huge Wave Hits Cruise Ship in Mediterranean Sea
Sudden ferocious waves created havoc in a Cruise Ship named Louis Majesty on Thursday killing 2 people and injuring few. The freak waves hit the cruise ship so hard that it flooded few passenger cabins, broke the window panes of restaurant and created a terrified environment in the cruise as per passengers’ accounts.
The Cyriot owned Louis Majesty was carrying nearly 1,350 passengers and 580 crew members on a cruise sail and while they were sailing off the coast of Northeastern Spain, the waves struck. But this was not the first struck of the disturbing waves in the Cruise Ship. According to Louis Cruise Lines, the vessel was struck three times on Wednesday too by abnormally high waves that were reported to be more than 33 feet high and that broke glass windshields of the ship in the forward section.
A German and an Italian passenger were reportedly dead and an old woman ended up with broker pair of legs. The Thursday wave hit was somewhat 26 feet high and stuck the cruise with full force. The impact was so powerful that the ship somehow got saved and was about to topple the big vessel. The two passengers died of severe injuries they sustained due to the hit of the waves and broken window panes and glasses. The officials have not yet released the names of the victims yet.
Many other passengers suffered minor injuries too due to this natural collision. The ongoing weather conditions on the Mediterranean area could be the reason for such disturbances in the mid of sea. After the incident the Cruise Captain took permission to sail the Ship to Barcelona port for emergency relief and halt. The dead were evacuated and the injured were offered treatment. The Greek Coast Guard reported that the ship was hit near Marseille near the French Mediterranean.

This is undoubtedly a due to Global Warming! Like it or not, waves like this will swamp NYC and Sidney and the rest of the world. We have to st op burning coal.

Rick… your comment represents astounding ignorance. Massive, unexpected waves have been reported around the globe since the beginning of time. Burning coal is almost certainly NOT the culprit. Expand your information-gathering horizons… the theory of man-made global warming is dying off.

By the way, you might be taken more seriously if correct spelling and grammer were a priority. Science says that the gas expelled by COWS is a major cause of GLOBAL WARMING. Here is some history for you. Less than two hundred years ago, this country was over run by BUFFALO. They were KILLED off and replaced by HUMANS. Do you see BALANCE there ?

The bison ate grass. The cows are force-fed corn to fatten them up fast. The unnatural corn diet causes a high level of flatulance. It isn’t as simple as 1 cow = 1 bison.
