Hilary Duff Weds Mike Cormie
Singer / actress Hilary Duff officially tied knot with hockey player Mike Comrie at $29 million estate in Montecito, California near San Ysidro Ranch on Saturday. 22 year old Duff and 29 year old Comrie are together from last two years and got engaged in February 2009.
Comrie proposed Duff with 14 carat radiant-cut sparkler and got engaged at that time. Just before the wedding ceremony 100 close members of the family and friends enjoyed their cocktail at the estate. According to a witness of the wedding, it was one of the most beautiful weddings and it was absolutely stunning.
Duff walked down aisle decorated with candles and flowers, she was wearing a mermaid strapless gown from Vera Wang with her hairs up in a bun. She walked down the aisle with her mother and her sister served as a maid of honor in the ceremony. Duff says, “We both have busy jobs, and we’re both very focused people, so that helps,” the actress tells Us. “Since we are apart so much, it’s not like one person is at home waiting for the other.”
