Google background image by artists like Jeff Koons 300x225 Google background image by artists like Jeff KoonsFrom this week, Google has included Google background image to its services which allows users to change the browser’s main page’s background with Google images with a collection of snapshots by artists like Jeff Koons, Kengo Kuma, Yann Arthus-Bertrand or the prestigious National Geographic publication or personal images.

To change the look of the home page, just click on the link located at the bottom left of the page that says ‘Change background image.’ In the box that appears, then, you can choose from a series of images, or use a personal album from Picasa.

In this way, Google has tried to reach out to users, who can now enjoy a more personal friendly interface, matching their tastes, say the makers of Google in their blog.

This new utility, which some have seen an attempt by the Internet company to move closer to the aesthetic tenets of its competitor Bing, of Microsoft is now available in all countries where it operates.
