Bus Which Can Drive Over Cars In China
China has emerged as the biggest producer of greenhouse gases and energy consumer in the world and it has over taken US in this matter. Population and heavy traffic are the most common things in China, keeping this in mind, China is planning a futuristic 3D coach bus which can drive over the cars. If it happens, then it will be the first of its kind in the world, China has been planning to build a “straddling bus”.
With the intention of going green and stay away from the congestion by widening the roads, the Shenzhen Huashi Future Parking Equipment company is planning to build a “3D coach bus” which is also known as “Three dimensional fast bus”. According to the company this bus would be 6 meter wide, and it will operate with the combination of electricity and solar energy and it will travel at 60 km per hour.
The first track will be constructed in Mentougou district in Beijing and it is set to start construction by the end of 2010. Total cost to build this system of transportation would be around $73 million according to the company.
