Boccieri to Vote for Healthcare Bill
The Health-Care Bill is getting more than required attention as well as votes that would soon turn it into reality that would bring 32 million people under its cover. The positive attitude for the Bill is seen as self imposed deadline by President Barack Obama is coming nearer. Few who beforehand voted ‘no’ for the legislation designed changed their views and nodded to vote ‘yes’ for the Bill.
Representative John Boccieri, an Ohio Democrat is one example of change who announced his changing mind on the bill of the US Health-Care System. Boccieri told that this move could cost his job, but he was doing this so that he could protect his constituents who need and get benefited of health coverage.
March 21 is the top domestic priority of the President and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is truly leaving no stones unturned to round up her support ahead of this slated time. Boccieri voted ‘no’ on the bill in November announced during Washington press conference that he has changed his mind and now ill vote for the bill. He is the fourth Democrat to button from ‘no’ to ‘yes’
The $940 billion package would impose new rules on the medical health insurance industry and this top priority of the President faces a critical test ahead of its deadline.
Boccieri was one of 39 House Democrats who had voted against the bill. But 4 of them have now switched. Let us see what more can Nancy Polis do to this Bill.
