Bed Ridden With My Big Boobs
Peruvian mother, Julia Manihuari was trapped in her bed for six months because of her very large breast, we really mean VERY large breast. Julia’s breast grew to an astonishing size of N cup (does that even exist?) after giving birth to her third son seven years ago.
“It was awful,” Julia said. “If I tried to get up I would faint because my breasts were so heavy.”
Manihuari was helped by the local media to be taken for a three day boat trip to a nearest town to be given proper medical attention.
Doctors said that she was suffering from a condition known as gigantomastia or abnormal enlargement of the breast.
Dr. Cynara Coomer believes that Julia’s case could be associated with the increased hormones during pregnancy. “During pregnancy, there’s a surge of hormones like estrogen and progesterone that causes the breast tissue to increase,” Coomer said. “In normal women, they will notice an increase of one to three cup sizes during pregnancy. But in this case, this was an extreme overgrowth of her breast tissue, most likely in response to the hormones.”
Fearing that her large breast can take her life away, Surgeons had to cut 35 pounds of flesh from Manihuari’s breast. The surgery took 6 hours when finally Manihuari emerged with a size 34B.
“Before the operation I couldn’t do anything. I just had to live with it. It got so bad that my breasts were touching my legs,” she said. “I have always had a small build, and the stress on the rest of my body was agony.” Julia said.
