Asus Eee Pad, Pictures Available
Asustek had just unveiled two new models of the Eee Pad, both running Microsoft Windows as software platform, the Eee Pad’s have an integrated e-reader and a note-taking function.
The Eee Pad EP121 sports is shipped with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium and has a 12-inch touchscreen, its main CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo. Asus communicate that the main idea when they designed the computer was to develop a small but useful video player and internet device. The small computer has an on-screen keyboard for use input and can run from its battery for 10 hours.
The other model has a 10 inch touchscreen display and uses Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 as an operating system. Its 12.2 millimeters thick and weights around 675 g.
The Eee Tablet is a digital note-taker that has built in e-reader functions for e-books. It has an integrated 2 megapixel camera, the device can be synced via USB or with the help of a microSD card.
