Apple is developing its own alternative to Flash, called Gianduia

Gianduia, is a new framework that Apple is developing to replace the competition that represents Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight. Gianduia is the reason why Apple is rejecting Flash. Consists in part of JavaScript code, and follow the web standards that both are trying to implement these days. The framework would serve to create content-rich web applications and interaction, such as those which can be used with Apple’s MobileMe service.
An example of what Giandiua can do for you is, the calendar for booking assistance of the Apple Stores could be loaded from the same physical site, without requiring any additional plug-in.
With this framework entirely based on standards and completely free, Adobe and Microsoft are depleting their arguments to defend their closed platforms. Flash, AIR, Silverlight … all can be powerful, cross-platform, but when Apple is planning something of this caliber, it can be feared by his rivals.

Does anyone knows which license Apple will use in this project?
