Rules are rules. You need to wait and be in line to get your self the much hyped iPad. As the Apple stores swung open the doors for the crowd to grab their first copies, a pretty long line was witnessed waiting for the gadget to have their hands on. At 9 am, the sale started with a great welcome by the staff and some hours later, the news started to pour in with the internet full of updates. In the line, we witnessed someone pretty familiar, someone who waited, someone who thought he was no one different, waiting to grab a hold of the three iPads, Steve Wozniak joined the crowd to show respect and patience.

At the Apple’s Valley Fair Retail Store, people started to line up, as long as 1 pm on Friday. Amongst the first were Jason Slack-Moehrle and his wife Annette, who waited under the sky waiting for the doors to open. Something they told was worth waiting for as they were later joined in by Apple’s co-found Steve Wozniak, who was fourth in the line as he arrived a bit late somewhere around 6 p.m.

This is not something which we may say they are ‘overreacting’ or something, they are are the true lovers of Apple gadgets. Customers were greeted by Apple employees with cheers with the store all ready to handout the tablet.

The first one to enter the store was the little 12 year old, Joshua Elefteratos. Not the 12 year old, but his father waited since midnight to get his kid in.

Steve Wozniak could have pre-ordered the device but he wanted to join the enthusiastic crowd. He also did the same at the launching of iPhone.

Wozniak told:

“To me, the waiting in line is like reliving the days you waited in line for concert tickets in college. Yeah, I could easily arrange to get an iPad in different ways. But I like to do this like everybody else.”
