A flashing news report came in that Google is planning to make technology come to your living room. The internet search giant announced that its teaming up with the best, Intel and Sony, to launch Android OS TV. The talks are in the early stages but they surely have big plans as the future of viewing would see a tremendous change. The main idea behind is to develop an interaction between the Internet and Television sets. The technology would be further moved to the blue-ray players and set-top boxes too, which means that Google would be watched through TV sets.

Google wants to be on a more advanced stage to make TVs more interactive and provide users with content from the Internet. Moving the technology forward after fully implementing it on the mobile phone,  the software is moved to service the TV industry, this means additional revenue for the search giant.

A news agency reported:
“Sony is working with Google on a television that would run the Android Operating System.”

Some inside sources have also reported that Logitech International SA would also be playing a role in the development of the first Android enabled OS. While confirmed reports came in of the partners collaboration with Google, Sony, Logitech and Intel declined to comment on the plans.

Television watchers would be able to use web applications including Picasa photo manager, YouTube and Twitter. The product is tagged to be launched this summer as some officials reveal that the development has been on-going for months now.
