Amazing Turnout Of Fans At Twilight:New Moon Party – Riverton Walmart
The midnight release of the movie “Twilight Saga: New Moon” at the Riverton Walmart Super center on Friday night saw a handsome crowd gathering at the super store. Some 5,000 people had gathered brushing at each others shoulders to grab a chance to view the movie. A long queue was witnessed to get a close view and a first chance to get the 300 signed special edition DVDs with bonus scenes from “Eclipse”.
A number of people were witnessed standing in the line from noon to grab the original copy officially signed. One such lady included Erin Thompson who along with her friends rushed up in the line to add the latest copy in her memorabilia collection.
Many of the people waiting had different views as some struggled to get in line by force. Fans were of the view, that they would watch the movie as soon as they get home along with family or friends.
Riverton Walmart General Manager Scott Trudo told that the staff had been preparing for the event for the past three weeks and had worked on everything which included security and refreshments to keep the crowd cool and patient. All the things are prepared and ready for the party to begin. He further added:
“It’s been a lot of fun because a lot f the associates here are ‘Twilight’ fans, so they helped design their own shirts and they’re wearing them tonight.”
Three member from the movie would be making an appearance which include, Justin Chon, Michael Welch and Christian Serratos. The cast would love to meet the fans as they are the real assets which have contributed to the success of the movie. Cast member Welch said:
“We will be able to shake hands and look in people’s eyes and kiss babies just like we’re running for president. It’s almost the least we can do; it’s only because of them that this thing is a big deal at all. I’m replaceable, they’re not.”
The Twilight: New Moon Movie party was one of the biggest advertising campaign for Wal-Mart. Thousands of T-shirts, games and other Twilight loot was available which kicked of at 10:00 p.m.

What a bunch of hypocrites. Where were all those devoted fans when Robert Pattinson’s movie Remember Me came out? They say they love him, but don’t support him. It was a good movie and they should see it and support him.
