AdiZero Prime Football Boots

The new version which is the follow up to the violently popular AdiZero Mk I, the F50 adiZero Prime appointed a ludicrous fresh standard in lightweight attainment soccer cleats by beating out their first-born versions by a negligible 20 grammes. The authoritative Highest Scoring Boot of the World Cup the original F50 adiZero was available in two different upper varieties, Leather and Synthetic – with the artificial option of the boots tipping the scales at a bare 165g.

The adidas adizero prime is launched in just Synthetic, but has had many different upgrades to effect it’s weight down to a bare 145g per cleat. Astonishingly, the orginal adizero wasn’t the lightest boot launched last term, with their German rivals Puma releasing the V1.10SL at 155g; but with the new adiZero Prime, it expressly seems that the infamous adidas three-stripes will take some shifting from their top light spot.

Amongst the reasons behind this weight-drop is the new upper. Known as the adiTwin Light, this newly devised matter is exclusive to the adiZero Prime and is once again a single-layer synthetic for highest aid, ball touch and, of course, less weight.

The TPU frame at the base; We know that the German brand are big supporters of TPU, having used it in the inceptive adiZeros inner bands of support, and it’s repeated here in in the form of the dark coloured ‘rim’ atop the soleplate and under the upper.

This ingenious factor will take the exertion away from the frame and upper (which are often moving in different directions) and result in a more dependable, suitable pair of boots.

Finally, adidas have paid attention to the details on this new boot, engaging lightweight (and bullet proof!) Kevlar lacing to establish that each gramme of dispensable burden has been shaved off these well-defined looking soccer shoes.

One of the contentious areas for many soccer shoe devotees is the the price. At ?250-$400 plus, these are the costliest boots that the brand have made.

Many fans felt aggrieved at the two hundred and seventy five pound price tag of the Nike Mercurials when they were launched, and many fans will see the ? 260 tag of the adiZero Prime as a mark by the brand to move their boots toward the same ‘top level’ price band that their American counterparts have produced.

As a leader in the soccer market, Adidas innovate with new football boots. The adiZero Prime is the lightest soccer boot Adidas have released to date.
